2. A day in Athens

The Hotel is located on Michalakopoulou Avenue in one of the safest areas of Athens, near the Music Hall (Megaro Mousikis).

How to reach the Conference Venue from the city center:

Syntagma Square is a 25 minute walk away. You can also use the public bus from Illisia bus stop, Trolleybus no. 8, or the Metro from Megaro Musikis station to Syntagma station.(Both bus stop and Metro are a 2 mins walk from the Golden Age of Athens.

How to reach the Conference Venue from the airport:

 

Metro

The easiest way to reach the Golden Age of Athens from El. Venizelos Athens International Airport (€ 8.00 ticket per person) or from the Port of Piraeus (€ 1,40 ticket per person). The Megaro Mousikis station is only two minutes walk from the Hotel.

 

Taxi

From Athens El. Venizelos Athens International Airport to the Golden Age of Athens takes 45 minutes and at a cost of around € 45.00.

 

Car

Follow the Attiki Odos Highway towards Elefsina, take the exit No. 10 (Marathonos-Mesoghion) which turns to Michalakopoulou street. After a 2km drive you will find the Golden Age of Athens on your right.
